Meaning of Words

Wanted to explain why I have Licken Chicken as my handle here on the blog. Well, when the command post would do a radio check to see if they had comm with us they would call out radio check. We were supposed to respond with "Lima Charlie" meaning Loud and Clear. Of course being dumb grunts we would come back with "Licken Chicken". Needless to say we would get in trouble once we got back to the rear area. Oh well, gotta have some fun every now and then.
